Fledging time arrives and the blue gouldian is obvious but the light coloured one is still much a mystery
its such a lovely silvery cinnamon colour , though that really still does not describe the colour.
I have a friend who is an expert on gouldian genetics so I have consulted him to come have a look and see what the light coloured ones might be .
the babies in the nest also fledged and there is also light coloured ones in the too but they are a different shade to this one so I am at a loss as to what these ones are also ! so now we have one nest that contains blue... one silvery light gould, two light goulds and some normal chicks all from green back parents.
this is the light coloured baby that fledged from the nest which look similar to a yellow baby but of course are not yellow as there is no yellow in the breeding.
