The moult has now begun for the special goulds but first news about the mutations as my friend James has been to look at them and in his opinion the special silvery type colour one is a Dilute Blue ! wow I never heard of this before and the other light ones are recessive Dilute back goulds did not know about them either ! not to be confused with the incorrectly called dilute which is from yellow x green breeding the correct term for this is SF pastel green which is only ever pb male.
My Dilute back is from green back only parents and is the proper Dilute that was apparently around many years ago but had been pretty much lost to most breeders nowadays , rec. dilute back can be male or female and it can also come in white breast.
Now we just have to wait for the colour up to see what these mutations look like !
